Steelers Have 7 Players on the ESPN All AFC North Team

The Steelers had 7 players chosen to the AFC North Team by ESPN’s Jamison Hensley.   There were 3 players on offense, 3 on defense and one on special teams.  The Steelers were second in the division behind the Ravens who had 9 players on the 25 man roster.

Offense:

  • QB- Ben Roethlisberger
  • WR- Mike Wallace
  • C- Maurkice Pouncey

Defense:

  • OLB-James Harrison
  • S-Troy Polamalu
  • S-Ryan Clark

Special Teams:

  • Antonio Brown

Hensley also had a category for Coaches and Executives.  The Steelers did not place a coach or executive on the roster.  Marvin Lewis was the coach for his turn around in Cincinnati this year.  His offensive coordinator Jay Gruden and new Colts coach Chuck Pagano were the coordinators.  Mike Brown was executive of the year.  He should have got that just for getting rid of Chad Ochocinco.
